Going to the bathroom at night can be scary ...
At least as a kid...altough a meter seems to be ridiculous short for an adult.

Photoshop, Ballpoint pen and Acrylics.


This is the last part of my art project "kid's world vs adult's world".

Gorgeous colors. That deep purple is the perfect shade for a long, frightening hallway. I can recall many times as a child where I was walking down the hall at night. When I was leaving the bathroom I would stand very still and listen for monsters, and then sprint as fast as I could and throw myself into bed and under the covers. That's a great memory you reminded me of, thanks! :-D
I love how the teddy bear looks scared, too. :) Nice job.

i adore this series. put side to side like that you can really think about the differences in perception over the years. its a fantastic group of illustrations.

Somehow, putting the map over the toilet makes this image rather trippy. Maybe it's the colors.
